Grave Goods, 2015 - 2016, Mixed media. Coffins made with the love and care of dollhouses. Ritual collecting. Memory and metaphysics.
I am interested in burial as it bridges across cultures and recorded history. Burial as a practice is riddled with symbolism and metaphor, many of which I am exploring in this piece. That is, going beyond the association between burial and death. While burial symbolizes the end, it also suggests the passage from life into a new phase.

Grave Goods was a solo exhibition displayed at List Art Center in Providence, RI in 2016.
